SYSTEM LIGHTNING
DISSIPATION
System lightning dissipation dissipation
system lightning (DAS), generally known as "Charge
Transfer System" is a proper system to
prevent lightning strikes and serves as
protection for metal structures such as,
tanks oil storage, communications, public
transportation systems (lifts), plants and
process equipment, control rooms, electrical
systems, office buildings, airports, oil
platforms and more.
System lightning dissipation (DAS), using a
charge-transfer technology to move the load
from the surface of the earth to the
protected structure. The DAS prevents the
impact of strikes in the area protected and
the system itself. This is done by
continuously lowering the voltage
differential in the protected area far below
the potential of lightning. The system
requires no power source is activated by the
energy generated by the storm.

REINFORCED PLASTIC
Description of materials and their main
applications:
FENOLCOT:
phenolic resin molding pressure and
temperature with cotton fabric reinforcement
is used in electrical insulators where
thermal requirements are of + (-) 200 ° C,
and friction elements such as slides ,
bearings, gaskets and speakers. Its
machining is excellent. They are
manufactured in sheets or plates 1000 x 750,
mm from 1 mm to 150 mm or in tubes of
different diameters and thicknesses up to a
meter long.
FENOLSHORT:
phenolic resin molding pressure and
temperature fabric reinforced short-fiber
cotton, is used in electrical insulators
where thermal requirements are of + (-) 200
° C, and friction elements such as sliders,
bearings, speakers and gaskets. Its
machining is excellent. Blanks are
manufactured in machined or pressings with
completed forms.
FEGLASS:
phenolic resin molding pressure and
temperature with glass fiber reinforcement
is used in electrical insulators where
thermal requirements are of + (-) 250 ° C,
installed outdoors, they behave very well
exposed to moisture. They are manufactured
in sheets or plates 1000 x 750 mm, from 1 mm
to 50 mm in thickness or in tubes of
different diameters and thicknesses up to
one meter long
